Molly first pursued physical therapy out of a love of anatomy and biomechanics and is continually inspired by the power of movement, the complexity and resilience of the body and our ability heal ourselves given the right guidance and education.
She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Hunter College in 2015 with awards in anatomy and dissection, and a scholarship for leadership and professional excellence. In school she was first introduced to the Institute of Physical Art (IPA) approach, looking at the body as a whole integrated system and treating underlying dysfunctions rather than just the symptoms. Motivated by that holistic framework she completed a rotation at the IPA’s Manhattan clinic and, after extensive coursework and testing, achieved her Certification in Functional Manual Therapy (CFMT) with Honors in 2018.
She is dedicated to continually improving the depth and diversity of what she brings to the clinic, taking multiple continuing education courses each year including visceral manipulation with the Barral Institute, pelvic floor and pelvic health approaches through Herman and Wallace, and various other therapeutic techniques.
